According to a July 2026 report by The Acreage Advocate, Baxter's PAC, Friends of Sara Baxter, received two $25,000 donations during the second quarter of 2026 (April 1 - June 26) from Lion Country Safari Inc.-Florida and a donor listed as "MPB Investments LLC." The outlet reported that both are linked to entities owned or headed by Oracle cofounder Larry Ellison: Lion Country Safari Inc.-Florida shares officers and an address with the Larry Ellison Foundation and Lawrence Investments LLC (an Ellison-owned investment firm), and "MPB Investments LLC" appears to be a misidentification of either Lawrence Investments LLC or MPB Property LLC, the entity that owns the Eau Resort & Spa in Manalapan and shares the Ellison Foundation's address.
The report noted Baxter said publicly in February 2026 that Ellison and Oracle "have absolutely nothing to do with" Project Tango, a proposed hyperscale data center in Loxahatchee that some, including an independent reporter, have speculated may be tied to Ellison. Baxter was not reached for comment by the outlet.
The same report said Baxter's PAC refunded $10,000 during the quarter to PBA Holdings Inc., described as a donor connected to Project Tango.
Per the report, second-quarter totals were: $2,400 in monetary donations to Baxter's campaign and $56,000 to her PAC before the refund (combined $58,400); no in-kind donations or loans; and expenditures of $14,197.75 by her campaign and $13,567.70 by her PAC. Since filing for re-election in early 2023, Baxter's campaign has raised about $148,000 and her PAC about $227,000, per the report.
