Joseph "Joe" LaFauci serves as a Republican State Committeeman for Palm Beach County, a party position that represents the county on the Republican Party of Florida's state committee. He has been active in local Republican organizing and candidate endorsements in Palm Beach County.
Florida Division of Elections records show LaFauci as chairperson of Good American PAC, a Florida political committee (Debbie Millner, treasurer; Michael Millner, registered agent), now listed as closed. Per Florida campaign finance data compiled by Transparency USA, the committee reported $84,375 in total contributions and $84,375 in total expenditures over its filed cycles. Its largest contributors were Deborah Hearst ($47,500) and Greener Pastures LLC ($25,000); family members George Lafauci and Renee Lafauci each gave $1,000. Its largest reported expenditures went to Alphagraphics Palm Beach/Alphagraphics Palm Beaches (roughly $31,000 combined) and The Comms Shop ($7,000).
Reviewing the committee's full published contributor list, we found no contribution from "Friends of Sara Baxter" or from Sara Baxter's campaign to Good American PAC. We also did not find any other LLC or PAC registered specifically to Joseph LaFauci beyond Good American PAC and a "LaFauci Consulting LLC" found via a Sunbiz search.
We were not able to independently verify any specific dollar amount that Baxter's campaign has paid to LaFauci or to an entity connected to him. Public campaign finance reports for Baxter's campaign are available through the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections' campaign finance portal; this section will be updated if a documented financial relationship is confirmed through those records.
Carl Cascio was elected Chairman of the Palm Beach County Republican Party in December 2024, the party's top local leadership post. Florida Politics and the Town-Crier report that Cascio had served as a Republican Executive Committee (REC) Committeeman since 2019 and as the party's General Counsel. He was also the Republican nominee for the Florida House in District 88 in 1994. His stated goal as chairman is for Republicans to overtake Democrats in county voter registration.
Cascio's involvement with Baxter: As county GOP chair, Cascio publicly weighed in on the controversies around County Mayor Sara Baxter ahead of the election, characterizing the developments as a "coordinated attack." In a separate instance reported by Yahoo News, Cascio said the party chose to "remain neutral" when two qualified Republicans — Baxter and challenger Elizabeth Accomando — competed in the District 6 primary. These are his public statements; this site makes no judgment on their accuracy.
